Playa de los Saladares

Playa de los Saladares is a long coastal strand in Alicante that extends for approximately 2 kilometers with an average width of 54 meters. The shoreline consists of fine sand and provides direct Mediterranean access.

The name derives from salt marsh areas that formed here in earlier centuries and supported salt extraction operations. This heritage shaped the coastal landscape over generations.

The beach features specially designed recreational zones that support social inclusion for people with cognitive disabilities through water and leisure activities. These spaces allow visitors of different abilities to enjoy the seafront together.
