Lonja del Pescado

Lonja del Pescado is an art gallery building located near Alicante's harbor with Valencian Art Nouveau features from the early 20th century. Inside, tall windows, colorful ceramic tiles, and iron columns create bright exhibition spaces where contemporary artwork is displayed.

The building was completed in 1917 and originally served as a fish market for the city's busy harbor. Its later transformation into an art gallery shows how Alicante reinvented and updated its waterfront architecture.
