The church features a single nave with a collar beam coffered ceiling and two symmetrical bell gables on the corners of its façade.
Founded in 1506, the Ermita de San Miguel initially served as a family pantheon and hosted the first meetings of the Island Cabildo.
The main entrance displays an ornate semi-circular arch with carved stone pilasters and includes a relief of a cross dated from 1759.
Two sets of stone steps guide visitors through the interior, with three initial steps leading to a landing before reaching the main chapel area.
The entire interior space maintains an uninterrupted design without the traditional transverse arch separating the main chapel from other sections.
