Church of Nuestra Señora del Carmen, Málaga, Baroque church in El Perchel, Spain
The church features three naves separated by rounded arches, two bell towers, and a Mannerist facade characteristic of Carmelite religious architecture.
Founded in 1584 as part of San Andrés monastery, the church underwent reconstruction after the 1680 earthquake and suffered damages during the Spanish Civil War.
The church houses the Brotherhood of Mercy and participates in Holy Thursday processions during Málaga's Easter celebrations, featuring religious sculptures.
Daily masses are held at 9:00 and 20:00, with rosary sessions starting thirty minutes before each service throughout the week.
The Virgin of Carmen statue, created by José Navas Parejo in 1945, presides over the main altar with an extensive collection of embroidered garments.
