Cuatro Postes in Ávila, Stone monument with four columns near Adaja River, Ávila, Spain.

Four Doric columns stand five meters high with architraves displaying city arms and a central granite cross on a raised platform.

The monument dates to 1566 when corregidor Rodrigo Dávila commissioned stonemason Francisco de Arellano to construct this religious structure.

The site marks where Saint Teresa of Avila and her brother were intercepted during childhood while attempting to reach Moorish territories.

Visitors can reach the monument by following signs from Ávila city center, with parking available directly at the observation point.

The granite cross in the center required replacement in 1995 following damage, maintaining the structural integrity of this historical landmark.
