Puente de Golbardo, Protected concrete arch bridge in Reocín, Spain

The Puente de Golbardo consists of twin segmental arches spanning 30 meters across the Saja River, with a deck width of 3.9 meters.

Engineer José Eugenio Ribera supervised the construction of this bridge between 1902 and 1903, making it one of Spain's first reinforced concrete bridges.

The Spanish government designated the bridge as a Cultural Heritage Site in 2002 due to its innovative construction methods and architectural design.

A new bridge construction project started in 2016 will transform the Puente de Golbardo into a pedestrian-only crossing over the Saja River.

The bridge structure combines stone abutments with concrete posts placed at equal distances to support the upper deck above the twin arches.
