The Spanish Contemporary Engraving Museum occupies the Renaissance building of former Bazán Hospital, featuring four thousand prints across multiple exhibition halls.
Founded in 1992 through professor José Luis Morales y Marín's donation of 2000 prints, the museum established itself as Spain's first institution dedicated to engraving.
The collection displays works from Spanish masters including Picasso, Dalí, Miró, and Tàpies, representing various printing techniques from the 15th century to present day.
Located in central Marbella, the museum charges 3 euros for general admission, 1.50 euros for students, and offers free entry to retired visitors.
The museum houses original letters and memorabilia from French artist Jean Cocteau, donated by his friend Pepe Carleton in 2012.
