Playa de Atlanterra, Beach in Cádiz Province, Spain

Playa de Atlanterra is a sandy beach on the Andalusian coast with wide stretches of light-colored sand sloping gently into clear shallow waters. The shoreline features multiple access routes and services including beach bars and equipment rentals, while distant hills frame the landscape.

The beach takes its name from the Cabo de Plata and an old watchtower, Torre Plata, that once stood at the cape's tip. Since the 1960s it has also been called Playa de los Alemanes, after the German developers and first residents of the Atlanterra urbanization. A coastal battery at the eastern end, by the cape, gave it the popular name Playa del Búnker.

Access is available from multiple points along the coast with parking spaces at several locations and rental services for umbrellas and sunbeds. Designated areas exist for water sports activities, and the beach is accessible year-round though it draws larger crowds during warmer months.

At the eastern end of the beach, on the tip of Cabo de Plata, stand the remains of a coastal battery, which earned the sand the nickname playa del Búnker. The cape itself is named for an old watchtower, Torre Plata, that once stood at its end.
