Parque Lineal

Parque Lineal is an elongated urban park in Albacete featuring walking paths, planted areas, and open spaces for recreation. The layout creates different zones where people can rest, exercise, or enjoy green surroundings throughout the day.

The park was established in 1980 as part of the city's green development plan and expanded through several phases over the following decades. These additions gradually shaped it into a major recreational area for the community.

The park includes the Planetary Walk, a scale model of the solar system marked along the pathways. Visitors can learn about space exploration as they stroll past the different celestial bodies displayed throughout the grounds.

The park can be reached from several major streets, making it easy for visitors to find an entrance near them. Multiple access points let people explore different sections depending on where they start.

Some elm trees in the park date back to 1855, marking when the first railway arrived in Albacete. These ancient trees still stand today as living reminders of that important moment.
