Málaga Park, Mediterranean park in central Málaga, Spain
The park stretches from Plaza de la Marina to Plaza del General Torrijos, featuring numerous tropical and subtropical plant species across 30,000 square meters.
In 1897, the park was established on reclaimed land from the sea, following a lengthy construction project initiated by politician Antonio Cánovas del Castillo.
The park contains multiple sculptures and monuments dedicated to notable figures, including writer Rubén Darío and painter Bernardo Ferrándiz, representing Málaga's artistic heritage.
The Eduardo Ocón Municipal Auditorium, located in the center of the park, hosts regular music festivals and cultural events throughout the year.
The park's collection of exotic flora makes it one of Europe's most significant public gardens for non-native plant species.

Between the Mediterranean and the Andalusian hills, Malaga blends southern warmth with a thousand-year history. Birthplace of Picasso, it combines Moorish fortresses, Renaissance churches, orange-scented alleys, and avant-garde museums. The Alcazaba overlooks the city from its Moorish walls, the Roman theater recalls its origins, and the Cathedral of the Incarnation connects the centuries. Along the port, the Pompidou Center, contemporary galleries, and subtropical gardens revitalize Andalusian modernity. The stroll is slow, between white light and warm shadows, from the Atarazanas market to the views of Gibralfaro. Malaga is no longer just a seaside stopover: it is a city to explore, to see, and to feel.
