Museo de Málaga, Art and archaeology museum in Málaga, Spain

The Museo de Málaga occupies the restored Palacio de la Aduana building, featuring an extensive collection of fine arts and archaeological artifacts across multiple floors.

Established in 1973 through the merger of the Provincial Fine Arts Museum and Provincial Archaeological Museum, the institution reopened in December 2016 after renovation.

The museum displays more than 2,000 pieces in its fine arts section and 15,000 archaeological items, including the notable Anatomy of the Heart by Enrique Simonet.

The museum welcomes visitors from Tuesday to Saturday between 9:00 and 21:00, and on Sundays from 9:00 to 15:00, under joint management of Spanish and Andalusian authorities.

The museum houses the Hercules Mask among its archaeological treasures, representing the ancient Roman influence in the Mediterranean coastal region of Andalusia.
