Playa de Pormenande

The 190-meter stretch of Pormenande Beach features a distinct combination of cobblestones and gravel, bordered by natural cliffs and green landscapes.

The beach has maintained its status as a Special Protection Area due to continuous conservation efforts dating back to regional environmental initiatives of the 1990s.

Local residents celebrate the Festival of San Timoteo each summer on Pormenande Beach, marking the traditional connection between maritime life and community gatherings.

Visitors can access basic facilities including showers, restrooms, and a 50-space parking area, with lifeguard services available during July and August weekends.

The small islet El Rego connects to the beach through a natural sand formation called tombolo, creating a temporary pathway during low tide.
