Cambaredo Beach

Cambaredo Beach is a 220 meter stretch of gravel coastline in Asturias, tucked between tall pine-covered cliffs that rise steeply from the shore. The narrow beach sits in a sheltered cove where the cliffs create a natural amphitheater above the waterline.

The beach received protected status to conserve its coastal habitats and the species living there. This designation has kept the area largely unchanged and continues to shield local wildlife from development and disturbance.

Local fishing communities have established traditional practices for sustainable resource management in the waters near Cambaredo Beach over generations.
