Puerto Venecia is a large shopping center in Zaragoza spanning over 200,000 square meters where visitors find shops, restaurants, and cinemas. The center features multiple zones for shopping, dining, and relaxing with open, modern spaces designed for comfortable browsing.
The center opened in October 2012 and quickly became one of the largest shopping centers in Spain and Europe. Its construction helped develop the Parque Venecia neighborhood and created thousands of jobs in the region.
The name Puerto Venecia references Venetian-inspired architecture that shapes the center's design. Visitors encounter water channels and plaza layouts that echo Italian scenes while moving through the different shopping and dining areas.
The center is open daily and accessible by car via highway Z-40 with 24-hour parking available. Visitors can also arrive by public transit or bicycles using connections to the city center.
The center was built with sustainable practices using renewable energy sources and recycling about half of its waste. It welcomes around 1.5 million visitors monthly on average and draws people from across the region and visiting tourists.
