Parque del Andarax

The rectangular park spans 77 hectares with a large pond, 8 kilometers of bicycle paths, and more than 16,000 trees throughout its grounds.

The land transformation from intensive agriculture to public park began in 2003 through an agreement between the city council and Southern Hydrographic Confederation.

The park functions as a central meeting point where residents gather for outdoor activities, community events, and family celebrations throughout the year.

Visitors can access facilities including public restrooms, children's playgrounds, picnic areas with barbecue stations, and numerous benches along the pathways.

A 6,900-square-meter water feature connects to a smaller pond, creating an aquatic ecosystem within this Mediterranean landscape.
