Teatro Albéniz

Teatro Albéniz is a performance venue with approximately 900 seats distributed across multiple levels in the heart of Sol. The space features a renovated stage equipped with contemporary lighting technology for theatrical and musical events.

The building was acquired in 2016 by Mazabi Gestión de Patrimonios and underwent extensive renovation while preserving its historic character. The site has long been designated as a protected cultural monument and continues to serve as a significant performance destination.

Today the venue hosts performances by regional and international artists across opera, musicals, and contemporary music styles. Visitors encounter a diverse program that reflects both local talent and internationally recognized names.

The venue sits at Calle de la Paz 11 in the middle of Sol with parking available in the immediate surroundings. The building integrates theater facilities with a hotel property, making it convenient for visitors to enjoy both experiences at a single location.

In 2022 the building was transformed into Europe's first UMusic Hotel while maintaining its role as a performance venue. This combination of lodging and event space creates an unusual blend that makes staying and attending shows at the same address possible.
