Puigsacalm

Puigsacalm is a mountain summit in La Garrotxa that rises to approximately 1,500 meters and displays exposed rocky areas across its upper portion. Dense forest blankets the lower slopes and base of the peak, creating a distinctive backdrop to the bare rock formations above.

The mountain's geological origins stretch back tens of millions of years to an ancient depositional system that created layered stone formations. These layers of sediment were shaped by natural processes over extensive periods, resulting in the structure visible today.
