Basilica and Royal Shrine of Our Lady of Cabeza

The Basilica and Royal Shrine of Our Lady of Cabeza is a Gothic sanctuary located on a granite hill in the Sierra Morena mountains, visible from considerable distances. The structure features massive stone walls, a central dome, and a layout designed around a main nave that houses religious artifacts.

The sanctuary was founded in the early 14th century and suffered substantial damage during the Spanish Civil War. Post-war reconstruction efforts repaired the damage and stabilized the structure for continued use.
