The building represents early 20th-century Spanish architecture, combining reinforced concrete structure with art-nouveau details and regional design elements.
The facility now operates as the Centro de Arqueología Subacuática del Instituto Andaluz del Patrimonio Histórico, offering administrative services.
The structure stands on concrete pillars embedded in the beach sand, allowing tidal waters to flow beneath its semicircular design.
