Monte Victoria, Málaga, Mountain summit in eastern Málaga, Spain
Monte Victoria rises 193 meters above sea level, forming a natural elevation within the eastern section of Málaga's urban landscape.
The mountain received its name from the nearby Sanctuary of Our Lady of Victory, while a former chapel dedicated to Saint Christopher stood at its peak.
Local residents actively participate in environmental conservation through tree planting initiatives and biodiversity protection programs since 2006.
Visitors can reach Monte Victoria through multiple walking paths starting from Plaza de la Merced, with a typical walking time of ten minutes.
Three letters 'JAC' painted near the summit in the mid-20th century led locals to nickname it 'Mountain of the Three Letters'.
