Lapamán Beach

The 800-meter long Lapamán Beach extends along the Ría de Pontevedra, featuring fine white sand and moderate waves suitable for swimming.

The beach area contains remnants of traditional water mills, including the Muíño Vello, which reflects the historical water management practices of Galician coastal communities.

Local residents gather at Lapamán Beach throughout summer evenings for traditional Galician music performances and seafood celebrations near the shoreline.

Visitors can access the beach via the PO-551 road, with dedicated parking spaces, showers, and seasonal lifeguard services available from June through September.

Natural springs flow down to the beach creating small freshwater pools that contrast with the saltwater and produce distinct sounds when walking on the sand.
