Tabakalera, Creative center in Egia district, San Sebastián, Spain
The Tabakalera building spans multiple floors featuring exhibition spaces, a cinema, workshops, laboratories, and a rooftop terrace with city views.
The structure operated as a tobacco factory from 1913 to 2003, undergoing extensive renovations before reopening as a cultural center in September 2015.
The center focuses on contemporary art, audiovisual productions, cinema screenings, and hosts numerous exhibitions throughout the year with international artists.
Visitors can access the center Tuesday through Sunday from noon to 2 PM and 4 to 8 PM, with free admission to exhibitions and most activities.
The fifth floor terrace provides panoramic views of San Sebastián while the building maintains its original industrial facade from the tobacco factory period.
