Platja de la Roda

Platja de la Roda is an extended shoreline along the Costa Blanca that stretches nearly 1 km with a mix of sand and pebbles. The water is clear and shallow near the shore, making it accessible for different types of visitors.

The beach was long known mainly for its fishing traditions before modern coastal development transformed the area. It still connects the older fishing community with the newer recreational facilities of the region.

The beach serves as a social gathering place where locals and visitors mix naturally throughout the day. The waterfront reflects the everyday rhythm of coastal life beyond its role as a tourist destination.

Access is available from the promenade through several entry points, with ramps and adapted pathways for people with reduced mobility. Showers, restrooms, and changing facilities are available, along with rental options for beach beds and umbrellas.

Two dedicated diving centers with modern equipment are located directly at the beach and offer year-round underwater exploration. The underwater world off the coast is known for its Mediterranean biodiversity and submerged structures.
