Iglesia de Santa María de la Oliva

The stone church features a single nave with a rectangular floor plan, incorporating a chancel, sacristy, and an open portico on the south wall.

Construction of the church began in the late 13th century, marking a transitional period between Romanesque and Gothic architectural styles in northern Spain.

The interior displays elaborate zoomorphic and anthropomorphic capitals, along with decorated archivolts featuring tetrapetals and zigzag patterns throughout the structure.

The church opens daily from 10:00 to 18:00 during winter months and extends hours until 21:00 from June through September.

The west doorway presents four pointed archivolts supported by decorated columns, while the chancel contains two distinct sections divided by an ornate pointed arch.
