Parc del Fòrum

Parc del Fòrum is a public park along the Mediterranean coast featuring modern architectural structures and large paved plazas designed for public gatherings. The site includes several open-air event spaces and draws crowds throughout the year for different activities.

The park was created in 2004 as part of the Universal Forum of Cultures, transforming a former industrial zone into a modern public space. This project marked a major shift in how the coastal area developed after that period.

The area hosts the Natural Sciences Museum and large auditorium venues that regularly present music festivals and cultural events. These facilities draw crowds throughout the year for performances and exhibitions that shape how locals and visitors experience the waterfront.

The site is well connected by public transport including metro line 4, several bus routes, and tram line T4 serving the area. The open layout means you can walk around easily at any time, though sunny days are most pleasant for exploring the outdoor spaces.

A massive photovoltaic structure dominates the central plaza, providing both shade and renewable energy for the park's operations. This solar installation is a functional art piece that visitors walk under and around throughout their visit.
