Sendaviva, Theme park and wildlife reserve in Arguedas, Spain.
Sendaviva is a theme park in Arguedas, in the Navarre region of Spain, combining rides and attractions with animal areas where visitors can watch species up close and take part in feeding sessions. An internal transport system connects the different zones across the grounds.
Sendaviva opened in 2004 with a concept that mixed rides with wildlife care and education, which was a new approach for Spain at the time. Over the years, the park added new experience areas and updated its animal habitats.
Sendaviva runs raptor shows where visitors can watch birds of prey hunt and fly in open-air demonstrations. These shows take place in natural light and give a direct sense of how these birds behave in the wild.
Opening hours change by season, so checking them before you go is a good idea. For popular attractions like the large zip line, arriving early or booking ahead helps avoid long waits.
The park sits right on the edge of the Bardenas Reales, a desert landscape that is a UNESCO biosphere reserve. From inside the park, visitors can see this dry land just beyond the fence, which creates a striking visual contrast with the green zones inside.
