Teatro Filarmónica, Classical theater in Oviedo, Spain

The Teatro Filarmónica is a rationalist-style theatre on Calle Mendizábal, beside Plaza Porlier in Oviedo, opened on 17 May 1944. Its façade has rows of balconies and windows and an exterior canopy; a staircase leads to the hall. The auditorium has stalls and one tier of boxes and general seating, with a small stage that cannot accommodate large orchestras or sets.
