Far del Fangar, Lighthouse in Deltebre, Spain
The Far del Fangar lighthouse features a white and black striped tower rising 60 meters above the Ebro Delta coastline.
Built in 1867, this maritime structure has guided vessels through the challenging waters where the Ebro River meets the Mediterranean Sea.
The lighthouse and its surrounding area served as a filming location for U2's music video 'Vertigo' in September 2004.
Visitors can reach the lighthouse via a 5-kilometer sandy path from the designated parking area, with autumn offering the best viewing conditions.
The structure stands amid white sand dunes and wetlands, where numerous bird species gather during dawn and dusk to search for food.
