Jardins de Ca n'Altimira

Jardins de Ca n'Altimira is an urban park with multiple levels featuring marble sculptures and water features distributed throughout the landscaped grounds. A network of walking paths connects different sections and allows exploration of various zones.

The estate took shape in the 1800s when Josep Altimira acquired the property and later built a tower with a golden dome. The site was later converted into a public park for community use.

The gardens blend architectural styles from different traditions, such as Arabic courtyards and neo-Gothic window designs visible throughout the space. Visitors experience this cultural layering as they move through the landscaped grounds.

The grounds are accessible, though the grade between levels requires moderate physical effort if you want to visit all areas. A visit works best during dry weather when pathways are safe and water features are clearly visible.

A network of caves runs beneath the park, originally designed so it could be deliberately flooded. These underground structures add a hidden dimension that most visitors never discover.
