Jardinets de Gràcia, Urban gardens with sculptures in Vila de Gràcia, Spain.
Jardinets de Gràcia is an urban garden with mature plane trees, open lawns, and a central fountain situated between two parallel walkways along Passeig de Gràcia. The layout creates a linear green corridor connecting two different neighborhoods through a thoughtfully designed space.
The gardens were designed by architect Nicolau Maria Rubió i Tudurí for the 1929 International Exhibition, serving as a physical link between two urban districts. They were officially renamed in 1991 after a prominent Catalan writer who had lived in a nearby mansion.
The park honors three Catalan writers through artworks placed throughout the green space, creating a open-air gallery dedicated to literature and regional heritage.
The gardens are located at Passeig de Gràcia 118 with direct access to the Diagonal metro station and several bus routes serving different parts of the city. The open layout and level ground make it easy to walk through and find places to sit and rest.
The park takes its name from a writer who lived in Casa Fuster, an elegant early-1900s mansion that still stands directly across from the gardens and frames the view from within. This connection between the residence and the green space creates a subtle literary presence in the heart of the city.
