Casa-Museo de Machado, Literary museum in central Segovia, Spain
The Casa-Museo de Machado contains original furniture, personal belongings, and an exhibition documenting the professional career of Antonio Machado spanning multiple rooms.
From 1919 to 1932, the building served as both residence and workplace for Antonio Machado during his tenure as a teacher in Segovia.
The museum exhibits manuscripts, photographs, and books that demonstrate Antonio Machado's influence on Spanish poetry of the Generation of '98 literary movement.
Located at Cuesta de los Desamparados 5, the museum offers guided tours every Saturday at 10:00 AM and maintains regular visiting hours from Wednesday to Sunday.
The garden features both a reproduction of Emiliano Barral's 1920 bust of the poet and a ceramic panel created by Julián López Parras.
