Town hall of Ponferrada

The town hall of Ponferrada is a public building on Plaza del Ayuntamiento with two towers topped by Austrian-style spires. The central facade features a continuous balcony with iron railings that runs across the entire structure.

Construction took place between 1692 and 1705 under architect Pedro de Arén, with various stonework masters contributing to the project. This building project fundamentally shaped the appearance of the city's central plaza.
