The Font de Ceres contains three water basins with decorative elements and stands prominently at the beginning of Maria Cristina Avenue near Plaça d'Espanya.
The fountain was built in 1929 as part of the International Exhibition infrastructure, replacing four columns that represented Catalonian identity.
