Church of San Pedro, Olite

The Church of San Pedro is a Gothic structure featuring a 52-meter pointed tower and a large rose window on its facade. The interior contains three naves arranged in a rectangular layout.

Construction began in the 12th century and continued through the 18th century, blending Romanesque, Gothic, and Baroque styles. The building evolved across these centuries, absorbing influences from each architectural period.

The entrance features medieval stone carvings showing Saint George battling a dragon and a centaur fighting a harpy, scenes that have drawn the eyes of visitors for centuries. These detailed reliefs reveal what mattered to the people who worshipped here long ago.
