Palacio de Valderrábanos

Palacio de Valderrábanos is a medieval palace located next to Ávila Cathedral and now operates as a hotel. The structure features a stone facade with ornamental details and a tower section that sits directly beside the Cathedral.

The palace was owned by Gonzalo Dávila, an Alderman of Jerez de la Frontera, whose coat of arms on the building commemorates the capture of Gibraltar. The heraldry displays the military achievements and political power of the period when the structure served as a residence for nobility.

The building brings together medieval design and modern hotel service in a single space. The rooms show how people have lived in this style of architecture across different periods.
