Platja de l'Illa

Platja de l'Illa is a beach along the Costa Brava that stretches roughly 174 meters along the Mediterranean coast. It features fine golden sand and is surrounded by mountain peaks that give the location its distinctive character.

The beach was already an important landing spot for fishing boats in earlier centuries and later attracted artists who drew inspiration from the area's beauty. This combination of practical maritime use and artistic interest shaped the location's character over time.
