Playa de la Solsida

Playa de la Solsida is a shingle beach stretching roughly 1400 meters long and 8 meters wide, enclosed by steep natural rock formations on either side. The shoreline slopes down toward clear Mediterranean waters, creating a sheltered cove.

This beach gained official recognition as a nudist site following Spain's 1989 legislation that permitted nude recreation at specified coastal zones. Over time it became an established destination within that community.

This spot embodies how nudism has become a normal part of Spain's coastal culture, where people of different backgrounds share the space comfortably together.

Access comes via a steep and sometimes slippery path that requires sturdy footwear to navigate safely. There are no facilities on site, so bringing water and supplies is essential.

The underwater environment around the rock formations is home to varied marine life, making snorkeling particularly rewarding throughout the year. Fish and sea plants thrive in the rocky surroundings.
