Estadio Municipal Nuevo Pepico Amat is a football stadium in Elda with a regulation-size pitch and seating for around 5,650 spectators in fixed and temporary stands. The facility also includes areas for martial arts training and fitness activities alongside the main playing area.
The venue was built in 2012 by the Valencian regional government as a replacement for the original facility dating back to 1964. This new construction aimed to meet modern standards for professional football.
The venue is named after Jose Amat Cerdan, a local footballer who played for RCD Espanyol in the 1940s and went on to coach several teams in the region.
The stadium sits on Calle Heidelberg in Elda and serves as home ground for CD Eldense football club. Visitors should note that the facility is used for various training activities and events beyond match days.
The facility earned a UEFA 2-star rating and underwent a significant change in 2021 when the playing surface shifted from artificial to natural grass. This transformation reflected the commitment to meeting international performance standards.
