Natxituko Lapatza
Natxituko Lapatza is a shingle beach in Ea on the Basque coast, stretching about 140 meters along the shoreline. The cove is surrounded by rocks and vegetation, with the beach surface made primarily of large boulders and pebbles rather than sand.
The cove sits near the village of Natxitua and reflects the long history of Basque coastal settlements. The area was shaped by traditional fishing and maritime activities that continue to define the region today.
Reach the beach by car via the BI-3238 road, though there is no designated parking directly at the beach. Walking or cycling access is straightforward, but there are no direct bus connections to the location.
The cove is popular with divers because the water is clear and marine life such as sea urchins and colorful fish are visible. The underwater world offers interesting exploration at moderate depths for both beginners and experienced divers.
