Cala Lanuza

Cala Lanuza is a beach composed of fine olive-colored sand and pebbles stretching about 250 meters along the coast. The shore is lined with palm trees and the Mediterranean water offers clear visibility for swimming and snorkeling.

This stretch of coast began as a traditional fishing area and gradually became a recreation spot as El Campello expanded its maritime economy in the 20th century. The local livelihood shifted from fishing alone to include tourism and leisure activities.

The beach remains a place where local people engage in fishing and water sports as part of their connection to the sea. It serves as a gathering point for both residents and visitors who spend time in the water and along the shore.

The beach can be reached by bus or tram from El Campello and parking is available along the nearby street. Access is straightforward and the location is easy to find from the town center.

A small rocky formation in the center of the beach creates natural pools at low tide. These pools attract various Mediterranean fish species, making the area particularly interesting for snorkelers exploring shallow waters.
