Circulo Industrial de Alcoy, Cultural institution in central Alcoy, Spain
The Circulo Industrial de Alcoy building exhibits Valencian Art Nouveau architecture with detailed ornamental features, forged railings, and female Hellenistic figures on its top floor.
Founded in 1868 as a meeting place for entrepreneurs, the institution moved to its current building in 1911, designed by architect Timoteo Briet Montaud.
The interior contains a modernist library, a circular conference hall with oriental paintings, and multiple spaces dedicated to exhibitions and social gatherings.
The institution maintains regular hours from 10 AM to 2 PM and 7 PM to 9:30 PM daily, except during national and local holidays.
The building includes an underground artificial grotto constructed in 1896 by Vicente Pascual Pastor, which now functions as a restaurant.
