Palmanova beach

Palmanova Beach is a stretch of sand in Calvià that extends roughly one kilometer along the coastline with fine white sand and blue waters. The conditions here support swimming and various water sports activities.

The coastal area evolved from an undeveloped shoreline into a tourist center during Mallorca's major tourism boom in the 1960s. This transformation reshaped the entire region into a populated coastal zone.

The beach area is shaped by restaurants serving Mediterranean cuisine, Spanish tapas, and international dishes. Visitors experience a diverse culinary scene that reflects the cosmopolitan nature of this destination.

The beach has lifeguard services, sun lounger and umbrella rentals, plus showers, toilets, and wheelchair-accessible ramps. Visitors can use these facilities to make their beach day more comfortable.

The area comprises three separate sections each certified with the Blue Flag: Playa de Palmanova, Son Matias, and Es Carregador. This division creates a varied beach experience across the entire cove.
