Cala Vinyes

Cala Vinyes is a beach in western Majorca with two connected sandy stretches forming a U-shaped inlet, bordered by Mediterranean plants and shrubs. The natural landscape creates distinct sections for swimming and relaxation.

The coastal area of Calvià underwent major transformation during the 1960s tourism boom that reshaped Majorca. This rapid development established the modern infrastructure and layout seen today.

The beach serves as a gathering place where locals and tourists share the shore during warmer months, experiencing the rhythm of seaside life. The cove is central to how residents and visitors spend their leisure time together.

The beach is well equipped with rental umbrellas and sun beds, and lifeguards patrol during swimming season. It fills up quickly during peak afternoon hours, so arriving early provides more comfort and better spot selection.

The cove splits into two distinct swimming areas connected by a promenade, each receiving different sun exposure throughout the day. This layout allows visitors to move between sections to find their preferred light and shade at any time.
