Koskipuisto, Public park in central Tampere, Finland
Koskipuisto Park extends along the Tammerkoski rapids, featuring paths, green spaces, and viewpoints overlooking the flowing water in downtown Tampere.
The park emerged during the renovation of the Kyttälä district in the late 19th century, becoming integral to the industrial landscape along Tammerkoski rapids.
The northern section displays the 'Virvatulet' sculpture by Aimo Tukiainen, installed in 1971 to commemorate Finnish soldiers.
Visitors can access amenities including a summer kiosk at Koskikatu intersection and public restrooms at Kyttälänkatu junction.
Canadian poplars and white willows from the early 20th century still stand in the park, while red canna lilies decorate the waterside paths each summer.
