Sappeen hiihtokeskus

Sappeen hiihtokeskus is a ski resort in Pälkäne with 13 slopes of varying difficulty and nine lift systems spread across the mountainside. The facility accommodates skiers of all levels and includes 750 beds in different accommodation types plus four on-site restaurants.

The resort was founded in 1989 and developed through continuous expansion into one of Finland's ten largest winter sports facilities. This growth trajectory transformed it from a small ski center into a major winter destination.

The Event Center Huippu serves as Finland's largest slope restaurant and regularly hosts live performances by national musicians and entertainment shows. It brings together people who want to experience winter sports alongside cultural events and social gatherings.

All essential services are located within 500 meters of the main areas, making navigation straightforward and convenient. This compact layout means visitors can easily access lodging, dining, and facilities on foot.

During summer months, the site transforms into an outdoor recreation center with 22 bike park trails and an adventure course featuring 96 different stations. This seasonal shift shows how the facility adapts to offer year-round activities beyond skiing.
