Hauho Church

The grey stone church stands at 91 meters elevation, featuring medieval wooden statues of St. Peter and St. Anna within its walls.

Built between 1500 and 1520, the church received a new brick sacristy in 1783, followed by the addition of a bell tower in 1811.

The church maintains a collection of medieval wooden religious sculptures that represent important figures in Christian tradition and Finnish religious art.

The church operates as an active place of worship while simultaneously serving as a historical site open to visitors in Hämeenlinna region.

The church bells originally housed in this structure were transferred to a new location in 1885, marking a significant change in its architectural configuration.
