The Hiekkaharju water tower rises 50 meters and contains an 8,000-cubic-meter tank to store and distribute water for the surrounding community. The roof features solar panels that power the LED lighting illuminating the structure at night.
Completed in 2021, this structure was built to meet the growing water demands of East Vantaa's expanding population. Its completion represented a significant infrastructure expansion for the region's water supply network.

During construction, a 5000-tonne water tank was lifted into place using 90 hydraulic jacks, an impressive engineering accomplishment. This lifting method was essential to position the massive structure at its final height.
