Logomo bridge, Railway footbridge in Turku, Finland.
Logomo bridge is a covered pedestrian crossing with steel frame and glass-walled sides spanning 140 meters over the railway yard at Turku station. It is supported by five pillars and provides shelter while crossing over the tracks.
Construction began after a design competition in 2017 was won by VR Track, C&J Arkkitehdit, and Lighting Design Collective. The bridge was built as part of broader station area development.
The bridge links the station to Logomo cultural center, which occupies a former locomotive workshop now hosting exhibitions and events. Visitors can see how industrial heritage has been transformed into an active space for art and community gatherings.
The bridge provides direct access between platforms and the cultural center with connections to parking areas. The covered roof protects from rain, making it useful in poor weather.
The structure incorporates recycled materials, demonstrating how modern infrastructure can be built with sustainable practices. This commitment to environmental responsibility is visible in the bridge's design details.
