Église Notre-Dame de l'Assomption, Rouffach

Église Notre-Dame de l'Assomption is a Gothic church in Rouffach constructed from yellow and pink sandstone with an octagonal tower at its center. The structure stands 68 m tall and extends 64 m in length, featuring a stone facade spanning 20 m wide.

Construction began in 1001 and underwent major modifications during the 13th century that made it the first Gothic church in the Alsace region. This architectural transformation marked an important shift in building styles across the area.
