Founded in the thirteenth century, the church underwent major reconstruction in 1535 and received historical monument status in 1928.
The church houses a notable organ created by Hippolyte Loret and Gabriel Cavaillé-Coll, along with stained glass windows by Louis-Charles-Marie Champigneulle.
Sunday masses take place at 10:30 AM and 6:30 PM, while weekday services occur on Monday at 6:30 PM, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday at 8:15 AM.
The cloister preserves an inscription from 1549 bearing the words 'Memento mori', reminding visitors of life's finite nature.
